For the 8th consecutive year, the Kiwanis Club of Cochrane will provide a Christmas party experience to low income families kids selected by our Cochrane Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) agency.

This year about 200 kids will select their own toys up to a value of $50. The celebration includes pictures with Santa and giveaways of treats, goodie bags, a stuffed toy, socks, toques, mitts, dental products and tickets to a Cochrane Generals hockey game for the family. We collect donations for the giveaways but also budget to purchase extras to ensure we have enough for everyone. Our budget for the event will be $10,000 for the gifts and approximately $500 to purchase extra giveaways.
